Alameda

You will find some of the most luxurious and beautiful homes in all of Portland Oregon in the Alameda neighborhood. You are only a rock skip and a jump away from Beaumont Village. Rich in History it is one of the oldest Neighborhoods in Portland. This area was first settled by William C. Bowering and his family, at that time the area became known as Gravelly Hill Rd, due to the gravel pit that was near 33rd and Fremont. In 1909 the Alameda Land Company purchased this area and  created the subdivision Alameda park, after the development this area was annexed into the City of Portland.

Upon the Alameda Ridge you will find views of the Willamette River and the Cascade Mountain range that won’t find anywhere else. Alameda is one of the most peaceful neighborhoods in the Portland are and offers a comforting neighborhood atmosphere that includes many cafe’s and shops.
