North Portland is connected to the industrial are of Northwest Portland by the St. Johns Bridge which launches you right into the heart of the wonderful St. Johns community. The St. Johns Bridge is 2,067 feet long suspension bridge that was built in 1931 and remains one of Portlands beautiful pieces of historic architecture today.
North Portland referred to many as NoPo has a very diverse mix of residential homes and condo’s along with large warehouse and industrial facilities. North Portland provides a quick drive into downtown portland which is why it is a popular spot for residents to live if they work in the Downtown Portland and surround areas.
There are many parks in the North Portland area, some of the most well known parks include the 23 acre Cathedral Park, which is believed to be one of Lewis and Clarks original landing spots and the 2,000 acre Smith and Bybee Wetlands natural Area.
