Woodlawn triangle in 1860 was a rural farming village and thrived. In 1888 the railroad from Portland to Vancouver located the main station in the center of the village. The station was located at  the current area of Dekum and Durham and also featured the end of the line for the Portland Streetcar.

Currently this neighborhood has undergone a transformation in the last few years. With its distinctive diagonal streets, Victorian, cape cods, Arts and Craft’s, Old Portland, a few former farmhouses homes, close proximity to downtown Portland.
