Woodstock

Woodstock is definitely one of a kind when it comes to the many Portland neighborhoods.  One of the oldest, first platted 1889 for residential development, a group of 5 men purchased the 194.5 acres for $48,000. They named it Woodstock after Walter Scott’s 1826 novel of the same name. Today Woodstock has an active businesses district called Woodstock village center, you will find the library, community center, large and small commercial establishments offering grocery, shopping, restaurants, and more. It is also home to Otto’s Sausages kitchen which has been in the neighborhood for over 80 years!.

The Real Estate in the Woodstock neighborhood include some homes built prior to the 1900’s in the northern part, bungalows, cottages and a few Craftsman and Split-levels  in between.
